It was a delight and privilege to live and travel across Africa, Asia, and Latin America in my 20s. Every once in a while I’d meet someone whose voice was so unique, so compelling – I’d try to capture a glimpse of it in writing. I did this not to speak for them, but for my own learning and remembrance of the power of their stories. Here, I share them with you.
